Meet Lynn Milligan, LMFT

North Seattle Relationship Therapist

Lynn is a North Seattle individual and relationship therapist (LMFT) providing a relational & collaborative space integrating narrative therapy, parts work & mindful self-compassion frameworks

Welcome! I am a family systems therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find compassion, ease, and connection as they navigate life’s complex seasons.

I believe that while your current struggle is a real and painful part of your story, it is never the whole story. You do not have to stay confined to a chapter defined by conflict, distance, or misunderstanding.

My Therapeutic Approach
In our sessions, I offer a warm, collaborative, and safe space to look at the entire landscape of your life. Because I operate from a systemic perspective, I don't view your challenges as personal flaws. Instead, I see them as natural reflections of the larger systems we inhabit—our families, cultural backgrounds, and social contexts.
Using a narrative framework, we will work together to:

  • Soften rigid patterns and step out of repetitive, stuck cycles.

  • Deconstruct the old narratives that no longer serve you.

  • Rebuild connection and help you find your steady emotional ground.

  • Re-author your story to foster lasting resilience, clarity, and self-compassion.

Whether you are navigating a heavy chapter as a couple, looking to strengthen a partnership, rewriting a family conflict, or seeking individual therapy for relationship issues, we will map out a collaborative path forward.

My Background & Training
My path to becoming a therapist grew from a lifelong desire to understand human connection and the powerful stories that define our lives. Before opening the doors to Pinehurst Relationships, I gathered valuable experience helping clients navigate transition and conflict in a community mental health clinic in Edmonds, and as an associate in a collaborative Seattle group practice. These diverse settings deeply informed the warm, systemic approach I bring to our sessions today.

Outside the Office
I am incredibly happy to live and work right here in the Pinehurst neighborhood of North Seattle. When I’m not in session, you can usually find me tending to my garden, exploring the beautiful trails of the Pacific Northwest with my partner, or planning our next outdoor adventure with our highly curious cat, Jasper.

When he’s not napping peacefully just outside my office door, Jasper is our hiking companion. He's a gentle reminder to breathe, explore, and slow down.
